Standard (Fine) Tuning: $175
Out of tune pianos are no fun to play. Pianos go out of tune because of seasonal changes in humidity. In general, the greater the change and the longer it has been since last getting tuned, the worse it sounds. This hurts your ears and will make your piano less tunable the longer it stays in this condition.
Pitch Adjustment: $250
Your piano cannot hold tune in its present state. If your piano is over 15 cents flat (or very rarely sharp) and you want the piano pitch raised/lowered to 440 (concert pitch). This extra step is often necessary if your piano has gone years without tuning, the room’s humidity fluctuates too much , or your piano has recently been relocated. Once the pitch is raised/lowered, then a fine tuning will be completed.
Grand Piano Detail/Cleaning: $375
Is your piano dirty? I can get the dust off of your beautiful soundboard! Full cleaning of the the inside action and cavity of the piano. This deep cleaning service should be done about every 5-10 years or as needed depending on the dust level in your home. Once this service is complete, you can easily maintain the piano and keep the dust to a minimum.
Voicing: Starting at $100
Does your piano sound bright and harsh. Do you remember when it sounded full and round? Over time, the hammers become hard and compressed. This happens because they hit the strings thousands of times as you play for many years. Voicing can include reshaping the hammers and using special tools to soften the hammer.
Repairs: $100/hr
Pricing Varies. Repairs are billed at $100 per hour, prorated when needed.
